This guide will walk you through the process of creating an automation flow that will automatically add a tag to a user using Digably.
1. Click "Automations"
From the Digably dashboard, navigate to the Automations section by clicking "Automations" in the left side menu.
2. Click "Create Flow"
Click the "Create Flow" button in the top right of your screen to open the automation builder.
3. Click "Add new workflow trigger" and configure your trigger
Click the "Add new workflow trigger" step in the visual automation builder to add and configure your trigger.
4. Expand the "Data Services" dropdown menu
After your trigger has been created, expand the "Data Services" menu on the left by clicking the dropdown arrow.
5. Drag and drop the "Add/Remove Tag" element into your automation
Drag and drop the "Add / Remove Tag" step into the visual automation builder between the trigger step and the step called "Deactivate Contact From Flow". This will open the settings panel on the right so you can configure your "Add/Remove Tag" step.
6. Add your tag
Be sure the first box is set to "Add Tag". Then type your tag in the second box. Finally, click the "Save" button to save your settings.
7. Connect the steps in your automation flow
At this point, all the steps have been added that are necessary to add a tag to a user. Simply click and drag the connector points from one step to the next to make sure all the steps are connected.
8. Save your new automation flow
Save your changes by clicking the "Save" button in the top right of your screen.
9. Give your automation flow a name
Give your new automation flow a name.
10. Click "Publish" to activate your automation flow
And click the "Publish" button to activate your new automation flow.
